Shoulder and back pain has become a common and severe problem for a lot of people in this busy, modern life.
SHOULDER & BACK PAIN
It can be caused by injury, poor posture, repetitive motion, or simply aging, as the soft discs between vertebrae dry over time, and less-supple discs can be more susceptible to bulging or rupture and put pressure on the nerves, sending red-hot pain signals to your brain.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR BACK
This 2-hour workshop involves a sequence of yoga postures and alignment techniques that stretch the front side of the body and strengthen the back muscles, whichs help to attain a proper posture, preventing and resolving back problems. We will also look into how to use arms and legs for better support for the back in general and how the hips, neck and shoulder all play a role in the whole back care program.
GOOD TO KNOW:
Everyone is welcome, especially those who spend long hours sitting in one position and are prone to lower back pain and stiffness.
